Balloon artist Treb Heining turned an unlikely skill and a daydream into a worldwide industry. While working as a balloon vendor at Disneyland at age 15, Treb discovered he was a wizard at tying balloons. He dreamed of turning his unusual talent into a career and the results have dazzled millions of people around the world. Over the past 40 years, he has invented awe-inspiring displays and stunning spectaculars, including balloon arches, columns, lettering, sculptures and more. Treb also invented the most popular balloon in the world, the magical Mickey Mouse “Balloon within a Balloon.” Here are just a few highlights of his amazing career where he has taken balloon art to new heights:
• 16 Super Bowls.
• Seven Academy Awards ceremonies.
• Two presidential inaugurations.
• Three Guinness world records.
• The 200th Anniversary of the U.S. Constitution
In addition, 2011 will be Treb’s 20th year as the Times Square “Confetti King,” responsible for dropping upwards of 3,000 pounds of confetti on New Year’s Eve.
Now, with MyOwnPet Balloons, Heining brings the fun to your home with a whole menagerie of inflatable pets to capture the imagination of the young and young at heart.

At MyOwnPet Balloons, we understand the bond between child and pet. Loyalty, friendship and fun create a special connection comparable to few other things. This meaningful interaction helped inspire the MyOwnPet balloon line, allowing children to simulate that experience (using a little imagination!) with any animal, whether penguin, pig or pony.
Canines for Disabled Kids (CDK) is a non-profit organization connecting children with disabilities to canine-assistance programs and resources. The CDK mission is twofold, first, to help families with disabled children obtain service dogs through education, financial aid and advocacy and second, to make families aware that these resources even exist.
There are approximately 52 million Americans with disabilities in the United States and about one percent use service dogs. With a higher demand than supply, canine assistance programs often impose disability or age-specific requirements along with waiting periods of up to 10 years. Children with disabilities under the age of 12 are often the ones denied training assistance dogs.
Seeing the challenge, Canines for Disabled Kids began to bring awareness to families with special need children, encouraging the placement of assistance dogs with these children. Since 1998, CDK has sponsored over 130 assistance dogs and provided services to more than 15,000 individuals.
Canines for Disabled Kids is helping children with disabilities gain independence and participate more fully in society. We want to bring this program to the thousands of families who are unaware that help is out there.

Hi, I’m your very own “MyOwnPet.” I can’t wait to play together and am looking forward to lots of good fun! Here are a few helpful hints about taking care of me.
Bringing Me To Life:
I love helium! It’s a special air that makes me float and you can find it for me at most supermarkets in the floral department. Or, you can go to your local party store or florist. Tell the people who work there to use the same valve used to inflate foil balloons. They’ll know what to do!
Making Me Last:
Once I’m filled with helium, I can play with you for weeks and weeks or even longer! If I get a little “soft,” just take me back for some more helium. This helps keep me floating behind you!
Taking Care Of Me:
Sharp things and really hot places are bad for me. If you take me for a ride and leave me in the car, please make sure the windows are rolled down a little bit–just like you would with a live puppy or kitty. When you take me from a warm place to a very cold place, I might get a little soft. But once you bring me back to a warm place, I’ll puff up again almost like magic! And always remember: hold me tight if it is very windy outside or I could blow away. Oh no!
MyOwnPet Balloons is all about imagination. Kids of all ages love to pretend, whether they’re taking their new pet Pony for a gallop, their penguin for a waddle, or their purple, pink and white Bunnies for a hop around the house. Best of all, there’s something for everyone: Puppies, Dinosaurs, a Pot-Bellied Pig and more.
At MyOwnPet Balloons, we’ve created the perfect pet playmates with high-quality materials, welded seams and special inflation valves designed for long-lasting fun. So collect them all, and give the gift that keeps on giving smiles.
